Beginning in 1977 with “Brookshire of Brooklyn Park”, Ground Development has provided 2000+ home sites within all geographic sectors of the Twin Cities Metropolitan housing market, and across most residential price ranges.
Ground Development is exclusively in the business of developing sub-division “communities” within the Twin City metropolitan area. “We cater to both the homebuilder and homebuyer who desire amenities such as water views, preserves, parkland, and recreational trail access within a neighborhood setting” said founder Steven Fiterman.
Ground Development has extensive experience working with most of the Twin Cities area municipalities. The company provides all mandated improvements for both city or township communities including, street construction, utility infrastructure and/or large lot well and septic systems. All projects are professionally engineered and conform to all requirements and regulations of State, County and municipal statutes. We encourage the homebuyer to select a builder and submit complete home plans to our architectural committee for approval. This in combination with our protective covenants ensures continuity within each overall development scheme.
Ground Development is a member of the Twin Cities Builders Association (BATC) as well as the Minnesota Builders Association and markets it’s developments in the BATC Preview/Parade of Homes each year.
